Our guest houses and cottages are ideal choices if you prefer an upscale self-catering accommodation or "Maison d'Hote" in the classic European style. Unlike some vacation rentals that simply hand you a key, we provide concierge services to book day trips and dinner reservations, on-site security and tips on everything from finding the best tidepool beaches to how to roast fresh salmon on the gas grill.

SUMMER 2008 GETAWAY
If you're looking for a cost-effective family vacation, the Olympic Peninsula offers so many FREE or minimal cost activities. Our favorite tidepool beach is absolutely free, there's no charge for taking pictures of Lavender fields in bloom, there are U-pick berry fields & Farmer's Markets from June thru September, and an Olympic National Park Pass -- good for a full 7-days -- is still just $15.

When you stay in one of our Vacation Cottages, you'll save more than $100 per DAY by not eating breakfast, lunch & dinner in a restaurant. Plus, if you're coming from the Seattle area, you'll drive fewer than 50 miles from the Kingston ferry dock to get here! Stretch your vacation budget even further by taking advantage of our Summer Getaway rates for 5+ nights in our Vacation Cottages.

Tucked away on its own little lake surrounded by 2+ acres of lush landscaping and right "next door" to the Lost Mountain Lodge property, the Summer House is the newest getaway in our collection of extraordinary vacation rentals. This gracious private estate home can hardly be called a "cottage" with more than 2800-sq.ft. of finely appointed interiors, gas fireplaces, gourmet kitchen, full-size laundry & more. Sleeps up to 3 couples privately or 10 persons comfortably. In fact, the Summer House is a very affordable option for two families to share! Beautiful furnishings, luxury linens, and attention to detail create a vacation rental that is definitely 180-degrees from rustic. Click on the Summer House photo at left for more interior & exterior photos, rates, and details on all amenities.

Our charming historic 1916 Farm House near the Dungeness Spit & National Wildlife refuge has been a family favorite since it opened in 2002. With unobstructed, wall-to-wall views of the Olympic Mountains, this Craftsman bungalow combines all the 21st century conveniences with lovingly restored turn-of-the century interiors. Sleeps 2-4 adults on the main floor plus 2-4 kids in an adorable attic. Click on the 1916 Farm House photo at left for more interior & exterior photos, rates, and details on all amenities.

The Guest House at the Lodge is a cozy getaway for two and spacious enough for a family of four. It features upscale amenities and furnishings, a gorgeous custom kitchen with new appliances, full bath with skylight, gas fireplace in the great room, multiple TV-DVD-VCRs +cable, delightful privacy, wonderful views, and a private Sundance hydrotherapy spa. Click on the Guest House photo at left for more interior & exterior photos, rates, and details on all amenities.

Centrally located on the Olympic Peninsula, the 1916 Farm House, The Guest House at the Lodge, and The Summer House are literally minutes to the Olympic National Park and Hurricane Ridge, great beachcombing at the Dungeness Spit and National Wildlife Refuge, the Lavender farms and Lavender Festival in Sequim, the historic Victorian seaport of Port Townsend, the bustling Port Angeles waterfront and the ferries to Victoria, B.C. It's a quick 35-minute trip to Lake Crescent, and a pleasant morning drive to the Hoh Rain Forest, Cape Flattery and the Pacific Ocean beaches.

Y
ou'll especially enjoy our 100-percent smoke-free and allergen-free environment with no smoking anywhere -- not even outside on the grounds! Our "NO Pets Policy" (no matter how sweet or well-behaved) insures that our bedding, fine linens, carpets and upholsteries remain impeccably fresh and odor-free.

In short, The Guest House at the Lodge, the 1916 Farm House and The Summer House are "one of a kind" getaways. You won't find more convenient, beautifully appointed, or centrally located vacation cottages that are this private and picturesque!
