A true vacation getaway in every detail -- The Guest House is as wonderful as our luxury suites at the Lodge with some very special extras. A completely detached 1100-sq.ft. cottage on the main Lodge property, the Guest House has its own lovely gardens with views of Quail Lake. There's even your own private Sundance hydrotherapy spa under the stars! If you're traveling as a couple, it's an ideal retreat for two. If you are traveling with young children or a couple of teenagers, The Guest House is ideal since it provides both B&B pampering and privacy from other guests.

A cozy gas fireplace in the great room is perfect on those chilly nights. Original artwork and new furnishings in a relaxed cottage style create the "away from it all" feeling of a very special retreat. The Guest House features high ceilings throughout, and several decks and garden patios to enjoy the view. While you may feel a million miles away from it all, creature comforts include a 27-inch flat-panel TV-DVD-VCR with 70+ cable channels in the great room and a 25-inch TV-VCR+cable in the master bedroom. There's even a piano for impromptu concerts.

Shaker-style cabinetry in American cherry lends a warm glow to the gourmet kitchen. New designer appliances include: a 4-burner ceramic cooktop, full-size 30-inch oven, Bosch dishwasher, undercounter fridge, separate undercounter freezer, and full-size microwave. There's a great sit-up counter so you can visit with the cook, and a separate dining area with lovely Craftsman-style dining table and 4 chairs.

The kitchen is well-stocked with a Cuisinart coffee maker, blender, toaster, mixer, salad spinner, and waffle maker, plus all of the dishes, cookware & basic sundries that you'll need to whip up a laid-back dinner with ingredients from the Open Aire Farmer's Market.

There's also a soft-side cooler and refreezable ice blocks to pack picnics & snacks for outings and day trips If you're not into cooking on your vacation, keep it really simple. Grill up some fresh King salmon on your stainless steel gas grill on the patio, toss up a salad, and voila --dinner al fresco.

The master bedroom features a pillowtop King bed perfectly situated to give you a view of our little lake through French doors to the covered sunporch. Chances are you'll see our resident family of wild black-tail deer strolling by on the trail to the orchard. A pair of swing-arm bedside lamps (with 3-way bulbs) insures you'll have enough light to curl up and read that novel or magazine that you "saved" for your vacation.

Vacations are all about getting a good night's sleep. We don't cut corners when it comes to the quality of our mattresses or our linens. So, we line-dry and hand-press our beautiful 300+ threadcount, 100% cotton sheets. Our wonderful 100% cotton percale Duvet covers & shams (by Pottery Barn and Eddie Bauer Home) are changed completely with each and every guest. So you get a sumptuous King-size pillowtop bed with lots of pillows that smells fresh-as-a-breeze.

The second bedroom features two (2) twin beds and can also be set up with a crib or toddler bed. We choose age-appropriate bedding for your party, so while the picture shows a design for young children, there's also fun bedding for teens, and more luxurious bedding when adults occupy the second bedroom.

A spacious full bath with both tub and shower features vaulted ceiling, skylight, and an operable window with a view of the gardens. In addition to Kohler fixtures, there's custom maple cabinetry with loads of counterspace, cubbies, and deep drawers for stashing a family's worth of toiletries. There's also a built-in hair dryer.

For families traveling with young children, we provide kid-friendly items such as crib, high-chair, changing table & diaper pail, potty seat and Johnson's Babywash, even diaper-wipes. There's even a built-in step stool in the bathroom cabinet to make it easy for little ones to reach the sink!

1 to 2 persons = $395 per night plus tax
3 to 4 persons = $495 per night plus tax
Special weekly rates for stays of 5+ nights

October 1 thru April 30 ( 2-night minimum )*
1 to 2 persons = $350 per night plus tax
3 to 4 persons = $450 per night plus tax
*From October1 thru April 30, book 2 nights in the Guest House and get one FREE! This offer may not be combined with other specials and is not available for B&B suites in the main Lodge or on Holiday weeks/weekends. Limit one free night per reservation.

Rate includes bath toiletries, kitchen sundries, coffee & tea, spices, trash bags, and TP/paper towels. A cooler and refreezable ice blocks are provided to pack picnics & snacks for outings and day trips.

Maximum occupancy is 2 adults plus 2 children (or
3 small children). There is always a 2-night minimum stay required, and Lavender Festival or Holiday week/weekend reservations require full prepayment.

IMPORTANT:

• The Guest House is an independent vacation getaway therefore breakfast is NOT included in our standard rates.
• The Guest House is approximately 1100-sq.ft. and will comfortably accommodate a family of two adults plus 2 children. The cottage will also accommodate 4 adults (2 in King bed and 2 in twin beds) but there is just ONE shared bath.
• Fresh linens and towels are provided. We include a mid-week tidy and fresh linens for stays of five (5) or more nights. Daily maid service is available for an additional charge.
• A Vacation Rental Agreement and a Security & Damage Deposit are required. The Security Deposit is fully refundable provided no items are missing and there is no damage to the residence and its furnishings.
• There is a minimum 30-day cancellation policy for our vacation rentals; 60-days notice required Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend; and 90-days notice required for reservations of five (5) or more nights, Lavender Festival week, and all Holiday reservations.
• The Guest House is a NON-SMOKING facility -- both inside and out. Persons who do not respect this policy will automatically forfeit their entire Security & Damage Deposit.

The Guest House is just minutes from the Sunny Farms Country Store where you'll find just-picked fruits, farm-fresh eggs, homemade breads, a great deli, fresh Dungeness crab and seafood in season, an outstanding butcher shop, basic groceries, and organic produce. There's both a Safeway and QFC in Sequim (about 10 minutes from your front door) and Costco is nearby. If you've forgotten essentials, national chain stores are a few minutes away in Sequim.
