Adventure & Travel Packages

DUNGENESS LIGHTHOUSE KAYAK TOUR
June 18 thru Labor Day

The Dungeness Spit is the longest natural sandbar in the Western Hemisphere a windswept 5.5 miles of pristine beach that is home to 330 species of birds, mammals, fish, reptiles and amphibians inhabiting or nesting in the amazing Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge. Paddle five miles out to the New Dungeness Lighthouse (built in 1857) and land your kayaks among the harbor seals swimming in this protected bay. After a walking tour of the lighthouse, enjoy your tasty box lunch while soaking up the sun and breathtaking views of the San Juan Islands and the Olympic Mountains. Best of all, you’ll see some elephant seal breeding grounds that are off limits to hikers traveling on foot. The round trip to & from the launch site takes 4 to 5 hours depending on tides and weather conditions. The package includes your personal guide who provides all your gear, a tasty box lunch, and bottled water for the trip. Afterwards, pamper your muscles with a steaming soak our hydrotherapy spa under the stars.
